Dexter - German Shepherd Dog
4 years male

Meet Dexter a very big and very handsome lad who is looking for a new home as his owner became too ill to take care of him any longer.

4 year old Dexter is a sensitive soul who is looking for a new loving home where he will get plenty of love, affection and company. He is quite an anxious fella so would really love a new family where he wouldn't be left alone for long periods.

He is currently fostered with three other dogs and is in his element, he would love to share his home with another dog, big or small he has no preference, as long as they like playing and are friendly. So homes with other friendly resident dogs will be preferred.

He loves children, although due to his size and his big clumsy tail children over 10 only.

He would never hurt a cat, but does like to torment them so homes without cats would be better, although homes with very dog savvy cats will be considered.

His foster mum says he is a lovely, gentle big fella who gives the very best cuddles. He is a pleasure to be around and will make someone a very loving and loyal companion.

Dexter requires someone who is very fit and mobile, as he is very strong on the lead and really loves his walks. Dexter is in no way a guard dog and MUST be allowed to live as a member of your family in the house. He is fully house trained, travels well in the car and has a fantastic recall.

Please note, Dexter is a particularly large lad - any potential homes will need to be large enough to accommodate him!

If you think you can offer this big ball of fluff a forever home, get in touch with a bit about yourself and the home you have to offer.
